Let's talk about where your practice is headed.

Tell us where the practice is today and where you want it to go. We'll look at how the business is performing - profitability, overhead, tax exposure, debt - where the bigger opportunities are, and how the practice can better support your financial goals and the life you're building.

  • You'll talk with a senior member of our team who works with dental practice owners every day - not a call center.
  • No cost, no obligation, and no pressure to switch accountants on the call.
  • We take on a limited number of practices, so we'll be straight with you about fit.

Curious who you might work with?

Meet the people behind our CFO teams and get a feel for their backgrounds, experience and approach. If we work together, we'll match you with the team that best fits your needs and our current capacity - and you're always welcome to tell us if someone stands out.

What happens next

Five steps, from this form to your first financial meeting.

No one signs anything on a first call, and the analysis comes before the pricing conversation. Here's the whole sequence.

Step 01

Send this form

We'll read what you wrote and determine whether our services align with what you need.

Step 02

Discovery call

If there's alignment, we'll hold a 30‑minute discovery call to learn more about you and your practice.

Step 03

Free analysis

We'll securely collect your financial documents and complete an analysis of your finances - the practice and your personal plan for financial independence - at no cost to you.

Step 04

Meet your CFO Advisor

We'll match you with one of our CFO Advisors, who you'll meet with to review the analysis and outline what working together looks like, including our service fees.

Step 05

Onboarding

Once engaged, we onboard you and prepare for your first financial consulting meeting. These meetings are highly productive, and they set the direction toward financial independence.

Practices Hundreds

PracticeCFO works with hundreds of dental practices nationwide. That perspective is how we know where strong practices tend to outperform and where growth gets stuck.

Meetings a year 3–5

Working sessions on the practice and your personal finances, plus a primary point of contact you can reach any time in between.

Planning horizon 10 years

Once the practice is strong and sustainable, we typically plan a decade out - far enough to build the financial independence that makes continuing to work a choice.

What our clients say

Dentists who stopped guessing at their numbers.

“With past CPA's, there were no ideas. It was all coming from me, saying ‘I think I can do better, but I don't know how.’ I come in to meet with Wes and he says ‘You CAN do better, and I know how.’”
Deon M.San Marcos, CA
“They know what percentages of payroll, rent and supplies should be, and they will hold you accountable to those numbers, which will really help you stick to your plan and your path of growth and savings. That is invaluable.”
Tim G.Encinitas, CA
“When I go home from work, I don't spend a whole lot of time stressing about what my books look like, or how much I owe in taxes. The burden of keeping track of the big financial numbers is taken off my plate.”
Weston S.La Jolla, CA
Before you send it

The questions dentists ask us first.

Is this a sales call?

No. It's a conversation about what you've built, where you want to go, and whether we can meaningfully help you get there. If we're not the right fit - or you're better served by staying where you are - we'll say so.

What does it cost to work with you?

We have consistent pricing across all CFO teams. The price is determined by your practice's size and complexity, and we'll walk you through it before anyone commits to anything.

How often would I actually meet with my CFO?

Three to five meetings a year, plus a primary point of contact you can reach any time in between for coaching as needed.

Do I have to leave my current CPA?

Eventually, yes - the accounting, tax and planning work together in one strategy, which is the whole point. But that transition is something we plan with you, not something you decide on the first call.

What should I have ready for the call?

Nothing for the discovery call. For the analysis, a recent profit & loss statement and last year's tax return tell us most of what we need - and we'll collect those securely.

I'm buying or selling a practice. Is that you too?

Yes. Our Transitions team handles buying, selling and valuing practices, plus partnership and business formation work. Choose the matching option in the form above.

Make your journey remarkable.

We'll take it one clear decision at a time.
