He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Accounting from The Master’s University and began his career more than 15 years ago in public accounting at KPMG LLP, providing audit and advisory services to mid-size and Fortune 500 companies. Over time, his work expanded into not-for-profit leadership and financial consulting, allowing him to make a meaningful impact in his community. For more than a decade, he has served families and business leaders with financial planning and balance sheet management. At PracticeCFO, he is passionate about being a resource to doctors and dentists who want to invest intentionally, grow their practices, and serve their communities to their fullest potential. In his role, he helps clients identify their unique opportunities and align their money with what matters most to them—finding the right balance between profitability and contentment while acting as a trusted advisor for long-term, confident decision-making.
Outside of work, he enjoys craft coffee, traveling and backpacking, music, and good food, as well as wrestling with his kids (all age 10 and under). A fun fact about him: he plays electric guitar, studied vocal performance, and even released an EP—though you may have to dig to find it. He was also nicknamed “Flamingo Kid” in high school after balancing on one leg for over twenty minutes during a concert when his guitar strap unexpectedly broke.
Wes knows what's best for dental practices. He's been doing this for a long time and he sees lots of practices. He can tell me how our practice is doing, and what we can do to increase our productivity. With past CPA's, there were no ideas. It was all coming from me, saying "I think I can do better, but I don't know how." I come in to meet with Wes and he says "You CAN do better, and I know how."
